Very old silk purse, probably used as part of a Victorian or Edwardian
mourning ensemble.
This back is black with black satin ribbons and a metal expanding frame.
The frame is topped with an open work metal cap with rhinestones.
It has a dangling tassel at the bottom.
The frame opens to reveal a dark lavender silk lining.
Handmade.
