Japanese Bag, Indigo Dyed Woven Kasuri (Ikat) Fabric Bag, Drawstring Shoulder Bag, Traditional Japanese Handmade Cotton Bag, Gifts for Her

-Vintage Japanese indigo kasuri (ikat) fabric bag. This Japanese bag is
designed as a shoulder bag and a drawstring bag. Purchased at a small Japanese
shop in the 1980s when I lived in Japan. Still with the original paper tag
attached (see photos) this Japanese indigo fabric has been stored but never
used.

-Beautiful handmade Japanese fabrics are sewn with 14 different strips of hand
dyed and woven Japanese indigo and/or ikat fabrics both on the front and back.
Eleven out of the 14 traditional Japanese fabrics are different.

-Made of thick medium weight cotton, this handmade indigo dyed ikat bag
measures about 9.5” W x 8-9.5” L when flat. It tapers on each bottom edge. The
drawstring cord closure is inserted 1¼” - 2” from the top and the 40” strap has
about a 20” drop. It is fully lined with a textured dark blue fabric.

-Unique sustainable gift for you or someone else! Goes great with jeans for
daily use, or would be a great travel bag, jewelry bag, small project bag and
more.

*CONDITION: Excellent vintage unused condition with original paper tag
attached (see photos). Carefully stored, never used.
