This vintage handbag dates from the 1960s or so. Label reads, "Jana, Made in
Italy".
It is a small structured bag, made of yellow, woven raffia style straw with
taupe fabric lining. Closes with a metal kiss snap on the center compartment.
The center section is structured & on either side of the center section is a
large pocket. Inside the center section is a single compartment, with a zipper
pocket on 1 side. The purse measures 10" wide by 7" high. It measures 3" across
the bottom of the bag. The double strap is a gold tone metal chain with raffia
woven through the links. The strap has a 5-3/4" drop.
Condition is very good. Shows light wear & some darker areas on the raffia
body, which you can see in the photos. Sweet vintage bag!
